Everything is delicious. Burgers Shakes are great you won't be leave it's not hamburger.
This is hands down the BEST vegan burger I've ever and probably will ever have. And the ice cream! Yum. The folks who work there are so friendly and thoughtful, and willing to look up ingredients when you need them to. The tables are on the sidewalk so lots of good people watching. So excited for their Newark location to open so I can get my fix whenever I travel.
This was my first time trying Jerrell's. This is a solid vegan burger. I've had a couple vegan burgers and this one is just right. The flavor is there and the textures are on point. The loaded chili fries were pretty good. The flavor of the chili was moderate but it compliments the fries and has a subtle sweet taste to it. The cookies and cream milkshake was good. It was smooth and balanced. For a spot with limited seating and spacing the service is pretty good. They accommodate for the space really well.
So, the only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star establishment is the customer service. It is not the people but the app and overall communication about what they do or do not have available. The day we visited my wife ordered chili cheese fries and they charged her for them even though they didn't have any available. It took about a month for her to get credit back via our credit card company. The food, especially the impossible burger and soft serve, was awesome. It is the best VEGAN burger I have ever had. The lack of customer service and seating holds this establishment back. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!
I drove a hour and a half for a burger Jerrell's can't do no wrong , i love the food the music is cool it's a good spot to stop and a seat and chat with a friend
Literally the best burger that I've ever had. EVER. Better than real beef burgers really. This place is more of a pick up and go type of establishment, even though they have outdoor seating. You go and order at the window, then wait until your food is ready to pick it up. We got the burger w the chili cheese fries. Also, my friend got the pineapple milkshake and I got the oreo one. Keep in mind, these are made with oatmilk. The burger and chili cheese fries, VEGAN. Everything was so delicious and tasted better than actual dairy and meat products. Usually when people hear something is vegan, they'd expect it to taste nasty or a boring copy of a meal made with meat. This was completely the opposite. Definitely would recommend!
I tried out the oat milk soft serve, and it was pretty decent! You can get free toppings including sprinkles or cookie crumbles. I got both. Refreshing little treat on a nice day. They do have some seating inside or outside. It is smaller tables. They also have standing tables on the side for larger crowds.
Vegan burger joint run out of a little storefront with a few bistro tables. Love the smash style approach to the impossible patty and thought the other ingredients tasted very fresh. Not a bad deal ($9 for the Lil Betr) either! Service could've been a bit faster (our waffle fries were a little cold... so I'm thinking they forgot to bring out our order when it was ready?) but maybe that was just the pre-burger hangry-ness talking.
